At CCS, health and safety are at the forefront of everything we do. Our teams undergo comprehensive Health & Safety training before being deployed to any site, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
All our operatives hold CSCS qualifications, with every site supervised by an SSSTS-qualified Supervisor or an SMSTS Site Manager, along with a designated First Aider.
For specialist tasks:
✔ COSHH-trained operatives handle all cleaning chemicals safely.
✔ Only fully trained window cleaners carry out window cleaning tasks.
✔ IPAF-certified professionals operate MEWPs, including cherry pickers, boom lifts, platforms, scissor lifts, and cradles.
✔ PASMA-certified teams assemble and operate mobile access towers.
✔ All equipment is checked to British Standards, with PAT testing carried out as required.
CCS holds Constructionline Gold accreditation and is proudly accredited by CHAS, Achilles, Builders Profile, and SMAS Worksafe (SSIP).
Our directors take ultimate responsibility for health and safety. One of our directors serves as our in-house Health & Safety adviser, ensuring quick responses to client requirements, bespoke RAMS, and site-specific safety manuals. Additionally, members of our office team are IOSH-trained, further strengthening our commitment to workplace safety.
